We are not trying to build the next Facebook or Netflix.

Sometimes the best app is simply the useful part of your website in someone's pocket.
A public website can handle discovery, information, and marketing while a companion app handles repeat actions such as account access, bookings, status updates, staff tasks, or notifications. When appropriate, both can share the same underlying system instead of creating two disconnected products.
A good first app project usually has:
